The success of Variétés Prud'homme has led to an expansion of the product portfolio, necessitating the transition of our operations from a modest footprint to a 100,000-square-foot facility.

Following the latest expansion, it became evident that stock accuracy and processing speed would be challenging to maintain without a significant technological shift, leading to the installation of a voice-activated order picking system.

 This technology allows the processing of multiple orders on the same cart. Operators are equipped with headsets and microphones that provide verbal instructions, including picking location, quantity, and confirmation requests. Product validation is done using a handheld scanner. Furthermore, this new technology has allowed us to reduce our ecological footprint by significantly minimizing paper usage.

All warehouse equipment is provided to warehouse clerks to handle operations, ranging from narrow aisle forklifts to stackers, as well as mobile terminals for inventory management.
